Founded on August 8, 2019, the Raya Development Foundation (RDF) is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to empowering communities through humanitarian aid, sustainable development, and resilience-building initiatives. RDF works closely with local communities in Raya and surrounding regions to address pressing challenges such as access to clean water, food security, education, and sustainable livelihoods. Guided by the principles of compassion, transparency, and community-driven development, RDF strives to create lasting positive impact, enabling communities to thrive with dignity and self-reliance. Through collaborative projects, strategic partnerships, and the unwavering commitment of its volunteers and supporters, RDF continues to build a foundation for a brighter, more resilient future for the people it serves.

Our Mission: Raya Development Foundation (the Foundation) works to uplift the Raya people and other underserved communities in Tigray and beyond through programs that advance agriculture, public health, education, and sustainable economic growth.

To alleviate the conditions of poverty by providing financial, material, and educational support to individuals and families in need, in alignment with the Foundation’s mission.Advancement of Public Health
